2 WEEKS OLD!

The doctors removed Joshua’s oxygen tube this morning, but he was pushing his self too hard to breathe on his own. After a few hours the doctors decided to put back the tube and wait until Wednesday to try to remove them again. Joshua had a tough day, but continues to be a trooper. It was a very tough day for us having to watch Joshua struggle with his breathing but hopefully Wednesday will be a better day.

  1. He just needs a little more time. He will get it. He is a strong strong little boy.

  4. He will get there, he' s not even a month yet! He just needs extra time for his little body to rest more. Don't worry too much, he will do it on his own time. Look at Nicholas, he was just cleared from oxygen that he "required " to sleep. We were told that he needed a trachea tube, imagine that! We decided that was not for him, even after the doctors were so pushy about it. He just needed more time and now he's doing well all on his own!

  5. OMG he is a cuttie patootie!!!! I absolutely love this pic of him, I just want to eat him up!!! I'm confident that he will be ready on Wednesday to breath on his own. He just looks like a fighter, and ready to come home for christmas. He is still in my prayers.

  7. Not surprising - sometimes these babes need a few times before they are without the breathing tube. Slow and steady wins this race.

    He is adorable!

    With thoughts and prayers,
